Help Students Turn Classroom English into Real-World Confidence!

At outabout.id, learning English doesn’t happen behind desks—it happens in real life. While our Lead Animators keep the energy high during main conversation sessions, our Activity Assistants make sure students have fun, stay supported, and succeed in their real-world practical challenges.

As an Assistant, you don’t need native or perfect English. Your main role is to be an enthusiastic guide, a helpful organizer, and a friendly face during and after the main session.

What You Will Do

  • Accompany Real-World Field Challenges: Walk alongside small student groups as they step outside to complete real activities—such as practicing colors at a nearby shop, asking a hotel concierge for directions, or ordering at a cafe.
  • Support & Encourage: Keep the environment fun and stress-free. You are there to help students feel safe, confident, and excited to practice.
  • Digital & Website Guidance: Help students navigate our website or app if they need assistance accessing session tasks or student materials.
  • Prep & Documentation Check: Spend a few minutes after the session verifying that learning materials, activity guides, and digital documentation are organized and ready for the following week.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Friendly & Encouraging: You enjoy helping others, guiding groups, and creating a positive, relaxed vibe.
  • Functional English Skills: High-level or native fluency is not required! Basic to intermediate conversational English is plenty—your positive attitude matters most.
  • Organized & Reliable: You are punctual, comfortable stepping into real-world venues (shops, hotels, cafes), and attentive to basic session prep.

Role Details & Perks

  • Pay Structure: Entry-level support position paid at 25% of the Lead Animator rate (based on post-session hours).
  • Flexible Hours: Short, high-impact hours held immediately following primary program sessions.
  • Growth Opportunity: The perfect step for junior facilitators, local community connectors, or advanced learners looking to build leadership, hospitality, and event management experience.
